Have you ever seen an umbrella without a canopy? Air Umbrella looks like a simple hollow pipe but in fact it blows out the air and thus produces a sheet of steady air to protect you against rain. Moreover you can control the length of the umbrella as well as its width – it is able to keep dry also 2 persons.

Just imagine people are walking by holding a stick up in the air. LOL
Its a good idea for using less material, damaging less our Mother Earth though.

That dont reduce the Mother Earth damage, that needs electric power to work.

though its a wonderful concept but i feel it will be more energy consuming and i dont think it can protect us from a torrential rainfall

Good thinking outside the box….the thought is environmental and ozone friendly….sucks up air and swirls it for shield against dropping rain…its simply amazing….good thinking…good products.

if it could harness the rain to convert it into the energy it uses? then it’s
a good thing but if it has a bigger carbon footprint than the ozone friendly umbrella, then my thoughts are…stick to the umbrella no?

I wonder how it would behave in rain with wind; that is, the kind that turns “normal” umbrellas inside-out. Has it been tested under a variety of conditions?
I think it is an excellent idea for cities, where it is hazardous to be walking in a crowd with everyone brandishing an umbrella with those nasty metal tips on the ends!

And then you lose an eye when you drop it and get an arc of high-power airjet in your face.

Very creative idea. Has it been manufactured? If so, how can I get access to a few of them? If not, is it going to be manufactured? And how can I get the address of the manufacturer?
