Rollerphone by Alexey Chugunnikov  is not a phone. It features a cellphone, video and music player, online chat and an e-reader. With its high-tech retractable transparent screen it can unroll  to tips of fingers, so it creates a perfect fit between ear and mouth. Who would not want to have a media center in its wirst.

Enough of boring furniture! Designer Toot Chen has a unique humorous approach when creating everyday objects as tables or lamps. Chen`s tables lope, lean, even sit and sprawl thanks to their bending knees. This furniture is getting alive, it reminds of animals or little monsters. The experiment with tables works with lamps as well, Chen`s lamps are sprawling as snakes creating sculptural pieces.

Designer Pawel Grunert has recently presented its newest creation, the Nest Chair dubbed also SIE51 that will be officially premiered in Milan at Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2011. The inspiration by a bird nest is evident and well done. It was handmade from stainless steel, so you can use this chair either inside or outside. I perceived the Nest Chair more as an sculptural piece than a seating, it reminds me more of a steel scrubber, to be honest. Wondering if it is comfortable, if anyone buys it, please let know!

Designers Yonggu Do, Dohyung Kim & Sewon Oh decided to raise awareness of this problem and designed the “1ℓimit faucet”. Fred & Friends designers keep to surprise with fresh and modern ustensiles and other products of daily use. Switch-shaped salt and pepper shaker has been recently presented as one of their great 2011 lineup products. This unified shaker is no brainer but still it is original and funny to use a large toggle button to switch between pepper and salt. I am pretty sure tha you will get one as one of the last minute birthday presents.
